Probiotic-rich Frozen Kefir Treats for Pets

For sisters Ayako Lopez and Yumiko Nakagami, Bazzy’s Kefir started by trying to solve a troublesome problem for Yumiko’s beloved rescue dog, Basil, or Bazzy for short. When Bazzy’s allergy-caused skin rash couldn’t be resolved by medicine alone, they decided to offer him frozen kefir treats, hoping the immunity boosting and skin healing properties would help. Bazzy’s skin has never looked better, and the powerful probiotic has been a great addition to Bazzy’s routine, prompting the sisters to bring their frozen treats to pets everywhere.

Developing a visual brand for a frozen pet treat opened up a world of fun design possibilities. The Bazzy’s Kefir logo features a profile of Bazzy himself, giving a very personal nod to the origin story of the brand. We chose warm brand colors that are reminiscent of delectable summer treats and hearken back to retro ice cream trucks. We carried that theme through in delicious word lockups that are featured in packaging design and brand stationery, the perfect blend of modern and summertime nostalgia.

We were looking for the right branding company to work with and when I stumbled across Fuze branding while doing some research online. As soon as I checked their website and their portfolio I knew immediately that I wanted to work with Fuze Branding right away. Their creative, colorful, and fun look really pulled me in.
